Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): Officials of Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO), Lotha Youth Organisation Dimapur (LYOD) and Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) undertook a joint physical verification of the foothill road from Niuland to Doyang Bridge on April 23.
The three youth organisations, having observed the progress of the works including the ongoing Doyang Bridge construction, resolved that workmanship should not be compromised but should be as per the DPR and that the works should be completed within the specified timeframe in the work order, an update from WSYF stated. It stated that the three youth organisations would not remain a mere spectator if the same was not adhered to.
After the inspection of the said road, the three organisations held a meeting at village council hall in Hovukhu village and resolved to appeal to the Naga political groups to exempt upcoming local entrepreneurs from taxation to enable them compete with others at par in the market.
The programme was hosted by WSYF. Meanwhile, the three organisations have acknowledged and expressed gratitude to Hozukhe village head GB and Ato Area Youth Front for breakfast and Hovkukhu village head GB for the lunch.
