‘Young people have to seize opportunity’

EMN Dimapur, January 21 On the theme: “Make Strong BJP Build Strong Nation, Join BJP and make strong Nation”, the Bharatia Janata Party Nagaland state organized its membership drive today at Wokha at the residence of Dr. TM Lotha MLA 38 Wokha AC. Speaking at the function BJP state Membership drive convener Y Yangkhose Sangtam elaborated on the principles of the organization. He said BJP is a party of the people- meaning it is a grassroots level based or cadre based party. Elaborating on the state membership drive “the purpose of the primary and active membership drive is to strengthen the party and to capture the power in the state in the 2018 election and to enroll oneself as a primary member one has to pay a membership fee of Rupees 10 as passed by the State central committee/body and to become an Active member one has to enroll One Hundred primary members” he said. Stating that the Communist party in China has 6 crores and 48 lakhs members the BJP government is determined to take its membership to 10 crores making it the party with the highest membership. On social media, he further said young people in particular have to seize the opportunity to spread the message to as many people as possible and mobilize them to join the party as it is the only party that listens to the voice of the common people with the motive to root out corruption and poverty making India an efficient country in this competitive world. He further said the BJP is a party that works what it professes. A principle of the party if anyone thinks he/she is an active member of the party then he/she should go to the constituency where on belongs for seven days and work for the betterment of the party. State memberships drive, Co-Convener Senka Jami also supplemented on the points stressed by the convener. The meeting was chaired by the general secretary administration Wokha district BJP, Invocation was pronounced by Tssenchibemo Ngullie Mondal president of BJP 37 Wokha A/C, vote of thanks pronounced by Liponthung Ezung the BJP 38 Wokha A/C Mondal president and well attended by all the party workers of Wokha district after which lunch was also served to all present.
