Yongshei Students’ Union win 1st Phom Monyu volleyball trophy

Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): The first edition of Phom Monyu Volleyball Trophy, which was organised by Dimapur Phom Students Union, concluded at DDSC stadium on April 1.

EAC Jalukie, C Wangan Phom was the special guest for the closing ceremony, a DIPR update informed. Speaking during the occasion, the official said that “volleyball was one of the favourite games of the Phoms” adding that it was “good to see the same game spirit in Dimapur as well”. It said that 15 teams participated in the tournament.

Yongshei Students Union, Dimapur emerged as the champions while Auching Students Union, Dimapur was the runner-up, it added.
