YGC, IG Academy, SAI –STC registers easy wins

Kohima, May 3 (EMN): Young Girls Club, IG Academy and, SAI -STC, Dimapur registered easy win in their respective matches as they outclassed their opponent at the ongoing CAPF U-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament at IG Stadium and local ground Kohima on Wednesday. Young Girls Club, IG Academy thrashed Government High School, Khonoma by 6-0 in the first match at IG stadium. Imlimerenla scored a brace in the first half of the match; she found the net in the 34th and 37 minute. While Arhoni contributed four goals, her goals came in the 48th, 52nd, 58th and 59th minute of the second half against Government High School, Khonoma. In boys’ category, SAI -STC, Dimapur demolished Christ King, Higher Secondary School,Kohima 6-0 at the local ground. Viki-M Awomi and Huvesu scored a brace and Monton Konyak, Thaihapi scored a goal each for SAI -STC, Dimapur. In the second match played at IG stadium, in girls’ category, Girls Sports hostel, Dimapur defeated Soccer Damsels, Kohima 4-0. Watijungla scored a hat-trick in 15th, 58th and 60th minute and Pelevonuo also found the net in the 48th minute for Girls Sports hostel, Dimapur. Sweet Poison club, IG Academy dethroned K V Dimapur 9-0 in the final match of the day at I G stadium Kohima. Neichutuo and Lito scored a hat trick. H.Shangki, Rokoseno, and Tsarola scored a goal each for Sweet Poison Club. At the local ground (boys), Don Bosco, Kohima outsmarted KV, Dimapur by a solitary goal in the first half to win the second match. Khrietuo Solo found the net in the 20th minute for DB Kohima. In the last match, KV Kohima beat KV Rangapahar by a solitary goal. The goal came from the boots of Stephen in the 69th minute at Kohima local ground.
