Yaongyimchen village in Longleng gets new community hall

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 11: Yaongyimchen community hall constructed under the Rural Development Block, Longleng, was inaugurated by CI Meren, Project Director of DRDA, Longleng, as the chief guest on October 7.
Speaking at the inaugural function, the Project Director said community hall in the village is important as all kinds of functions and meetings on important issues of the villagers are held and solved there. He informed that the community hall was constructed under BRGF and GIA.
While expressing his happiness on the timely completion of the community hall, he encouraged the VDB, village council members and the public to implement such kind of presentable schemes in near future and to maintain transparency and keep all the records in a properly manner.
Short speeches were also delivered by head GB Yaongyimchen; chairman of Alayung Village Council Y Ashau Phom; BAPO RD block Longleng; and Yaongyimchen RD staff.
The programme was attended by members of Yachem village council, Noksosang village council, Alayung village council and Sanglu village council.
