Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has just launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, in India. It may be mentioned that the company announced the global launch of the phone just a few days ago.

One of the most impressive features of the phone is its 6.78-inch 2K flexible E6 Samsung AMOLED LTPO screen. This boasts a peak brightness of 1900 nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The phone also offers 1920Hz PWM dimming.

Powering the Xiaomi 13 Pro is Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is supported by a large VC liquid cooling area. The device runs Android 13 with MIUI 14, and Xiaomi has confirmed that it will provide 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for the phone.

The phone’s back is made of 3D bio-ceramic material, and Xiaomi India claims that it provides protection equivalent to IP68 certification in the Indian variant.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro’s triple 50MP rear cameras are another standout feature. The main camera features a 1″ ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensor, Leica optics, and 8 aspherical lenses. There is also support for HyperOIS and 8K video recording. The new Leica 75mm focal length 75mm telephoto features a floating focus lens design that allows users to shoot original 75mm telephoto and portraits, as well as super close-ups. An additional 115° ultra-wide camera completes the triple-camera setup. For selfie duties, there is a 32MP shooter on the front.

The new Xiaomi 13 Pro features a big 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The phone will be available online from Xiaomi’s official website and Amazon marketplace, starting from March 10. Customers can also buy the phone offline through Mi Home stores and Mi Retail Partners. Xiaomi has slapped a price tag of INR 79,999 for the single 12GB + 256GB model. The company has confirmed that the device will come in two colour options: Ceramic Black and Ceramic White.

Additionally, there is an early access sale on March 6 at mi.com and select Mi Home stores and Mi Studio. The first 1000 fans who buy the phone in the sale will have a chance to win the Xiaomi 13 Pro Merchandise Box.
