Dimapur, Oct. 5: Imkongsunep Jamir won via unanimous decision in his first professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight against George Lalmuanawma in the main event match of the X1 International Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fight Night which was held at the Indoor badminton stadium, DC court in Dimapur on Saturday, October 5.
In the co-main event, Victor Angami won by TKO against Balajied Ryntathiang in the second round of middleweight bout.
X1 fight night begun with Gautam Mayong winning via unanimous decision against Tokho George in straw weight division and in the second bout Kesoyhun Rengma won by TKO against Kakheto Yepthomi in the third round.
In bantamweight kick boxing, Lobsand Cigano defeated Aboto Ayemi via unanimous decision.
The straw weight bout between Echwa phawa and Bendict Lamin was an interesting match as Bendict lost the first two rounds but was able to TKO Echwa phawa in the final minutes of the last round.
In the fifth match Jony Darlong beat Aloto Zhimomi via unanimous decision in their flyweight division.
Kekhrieneitso Angami beat Samuel Lalthlamuana by TKO in 2.46 seconds of the first round in their featherweight division fight.
In the seventh bout Veinii Suffix defeated Carnold Marboh via unanimous decision.
Darren Karshandy dominated the whole three rounds as Shantanu Boruah was not able to tackle the take down and ground and pound by Karshandy and won via unanimous decision.
In the tenth bantamweight bout, Mairidin Newmai won by TKO against VL Sangzela and Lalnunpuia defeated Mridul Saikia via unanimous decision.
