WSH condoles demise of NSCN (IM) cadre

DIMAPUR — The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family of ‘Lieutenant Colonel’ (Posthumous) Hosea Assumi, a Naga Army cadre of the NSCN (IM) from the Sumi Region, on his “tragic and untimely” demise.

“His heroic sacrifice in the line of duty has left an indelible mark of sorrow on our community. His unwavering dedication and ultimate sacrifice for the noble cause of our Naga nation will forever be etched in our hearts and continue to inspire us,” the WSH stated in a condolence message.

Conveying condolences to the bereaved family and the people of Toshezu village, the hoho also expressed gratitude to the Wung Tangkhul Region for organising a befitting funeral programme in honour of late Assumi.
