WSH appreciates DGP, CP Dimapur for upholding law and order
DIMAPUR — The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has expressed appreciation and gratitude towards the Director General of Police (DGP) Rupin Sharma and Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur, Kevithuto Sophie for their service in upholding law and order.
In a press release, the WSH lauded Sharma “for his outstanding leadership” as well as implementing numerous reforms in the police department. According to WSH, his “endeavours have fostered a peaceful and secure environment across the state, ensuring the welfare of its people”.
While appreciating his commitment to the safety and well-being of the community, the WSH also congratulated the DGP on receiving the prestigious President’s Medal for distinguished service on the 75th Republic Day of India.
The organisation also commended CP Dimapur for his “effective management of taxation issues and successful efforts in combating the syndicate system in Dimapur”.
It said that Sophie’s proactive approach and strategic planning have made a significant impact in addressing these critical issues.
Furthermore, it expressed gratitude to the entire police force for their hard work and dedication and added that they are grateful for “the exceptional service and positive impact brought about under their leadership”.
