Dimapur, August 8 (EMN): The Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) Youth department organised skill development training on August 4 an 5 at WSBAK Centre Akuvuto, Thahekhu as part of an effort in sensitising and motivating the young people the importance of acquiring knowledge and developing life skills for sustainable livelihood and job opportunities in private sectors.
This training was organized in partnership with the YouthNet, Pinnacle Skills, Don Bosco Tech, Aida Centre, Horticulture department and other entrepreneurs.Two-day training programme topic included covering hospitality, health care, marketing, designing, cutting and tailoring, photography, computer, beauty and wellness, computer/IT, mushroom cultivation, fruit preservation, woodcraft, bee keeping and candle making.
Resource persons for the programme were-Razouvikhol Luho, head of operations, YouthNet, Nagaland Job Centre; Dr. Yan Murry, chief executive, Pinnacle Skills; Tokato Chishi, trainer of Don Bosco Tech, AIDA Centre; Neisetuonuo Debbie, AHO, Horticulture department; Dr. Khekugha Murru, general secretary of BAN; Pinky Sukhalu, president of Dimapur District Beauty Parlour & Salon Owners Association; Bokali Chishi, member of NBKHM; Ayeto Sumi, City manager, Oppo Mobile; Abeto Shohe, wedding & lifestyle photographer; Hosheni Sema, proprietor of Style and Elen Fashion Designing Institute; Bethel Shohe and Khehovi Sumi.
