Dimapur, May 15 (EMN): As part of its social responsibility and in extending support and cooperation to Team Dimapur, the Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) has offered to sponsor procuring coffins for the poor and needy succumbing to Covid-19 at District Hospital, Dimapur.
WSBAK made this announcement in a letter addressed to Y Kikheto Sema, nodal officer for Dimapur district to manage Covi activities.
It recalled the activities undertaken by WSBAK in managing a quarantine centre for the returnees at Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur, last year. It also pointed out how the problems relating to Covid-19 was efficiently and effectively managed by the Team Dimapur under his strong leadership.
“Your love and concern for the public even at the cost of risking yourself is very much appreciated by the WSBAK,” WSBAK executive secretary Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema and the president of WSBAK council Ahoto Zhimo stated in a joint statement.
WSBAK further expressed confidence that any Covid-19 related issue would be proficiently handled under his leadership.
