Wresting team from Nagaland leaves for national championship

[caption id="attachment_179766" align="alignnone" width="550"] The NWA contingent prior to their departure at Dimapur Railway Station.[/caption] Dimapur, April 29 (EMN): Fourteen wrestlers from the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will participate in the 6th National Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Championship (NTWPC) 2018 to be held in Pune from May 2 to 5th. The team left for Pune on April 29 morning. The NWA contingent includes Menuosetuo Yiese, Vekutho Soho, Visedelhou Chusi, Kevikhrietuo Chusi, Kudupoyi Nakro, Neiphretuo Zhunyu, Shezove Therie, Herahungdibo, Kedalung, Bongtang Phom, Bailout A Phom, Kusayi Tsutso, Vehuto Nakro, and Kekhriekuolie Khawakhrie. The team was led by NWA general secretary Vekhozo as team leader, NWA vice president Mitwatei Hebwang as co-team leader and ‘international bronze medallist’ Keduovilie Zumu as technical staff. The NWA bagged 16 medals with 7 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze during the 5th Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Championship (NTWPC) 2016.
