Dimapur, April 30 (EMN): Office of the Deputy Commissioner Mon, the State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW), and the Nagaland State Social Welfare Board (NSSWB) will be jointly organising a series of district level workshop and consultative meeting to address violence against women and children in Mon district from May 2-4 in the DRDA conference hall, DC complex. Awareness of schemes with special reference to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Women-Helpline-181 and Sakhi One Stop Centre will be created, a press release from the organisers informed.
The deputy commissioner of Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed head of the district departments, Police, village council representatives, DBs, NGOs, women organisations, churches, student and community leaders (KU, KNSK, KSU, KBBB), principals, and teachers to participate.
