Dimapur, Nov. 3 (EMN): Woodland Higher Secondary School in Zunheboto celebrated a special parent's day on the theme ‘How parents play an important role in shaping and moulding their children to become great in life’ at the school ground on November 1.
Speaking on the occasion, Deborah Sukhalu thanked all the parents for giving their time to attend the special programme organised by their children. She advised the parents to show good examples to their children as they would follow their footsteps.
Lilo P Chishi said the invocation while a welcome song was presented by students of Class IX, an update from the school stated on Friday.
Two special dramas were presented on social issues and parents. Drama on social was presented by students of Class IX and X showcasing the social issues affecting the society. The other drama was presented by students of Class XII based on how parents should treat their children and teach their children the good things in life in order to help them to become wise and better students in life.
