- DIMAPUR — In the
4th edition of the Women’s Champions Trophy, on Saturday at Sovima Cricket
Ground, Chümoukedima, Doyang Queens defeated Tizu Warriors by 7 wickets, while
at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Dimapur, Dhansiri Titans overcame Chathe Dazzlers
by 8 wickets.
- Tizu Warriors, batting first after being put in, struggled
against a disciplined Queens bowling attack and were dismissed for 52 runs in
27 overs. Najmeen and Manisha were the joint top scorers with seven runs each,
stated an update from Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA).
- Rongsenmenla led the bowling effort for Doyang Queens with
figures of 4 for 10 in six overs, well supported by Bipila, who claimed 3 for 8
in six overs.

- In reply, Doyang Queens chased down the target comfortably,
reaching 53 for 3 in 12.5 overs.
- Bipila continued her all-round performance, scoring 19 off
22 balls, while Neinuo Rupreo remained unbeaten on 12 from 18 deliveries.
Manisha was the pick of the bowlers for Tizu Warriors, taking 2 for 18 in five
overs.
- At Nagaland Cricket Stadium, the Chathe Dazzlers opted to
bat but were bowled out for 53 runs in 18 overs. Nitu was the only batter to
reach double figures, scoring 21 off 20 balls.
- Imsusenla Longkumer delivered a disciplined spell, taking 3
for 12 in four overs, while Rwisumwi Basumatari chipped in with 3 for 21 in six
overs to dismantle the Dazzlers’ batting.
- Dhansiri Titans chased down the target with ease, finishing
at 54 for 2 in just six overs. Iduabeule top-scored with an unbeaten 20 from 15
balls. For the Chathe Dazzlers, Elina Muru claimed 2 for 15 in three overs.
