[caption id="attachment_266479" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Women Self Help Group members trying their hands on making paper bags during the training on August 18.[/caption] Dimapur, Aug. 18 (EMN): Can Youth, a non-profit organisation, conducted a training on paper-bags making for women Self Help Group (SHG) at Sunrise Colony, Burma Camp, on August 18. The training was conducted in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC). In a press release, Can Youth chief functionary Jenpu Rongmei stated that the organisation gives training on paper-bags making and awareness on reducing single-use plastic bags. He added that the organisation encouraged both the consumers and business community to control single-use plastics bags and promote paper-bags. Can Youth trainers were Mary Konyak, Marina Rongmei and assisted by interns from North East Institute for Social Science and Research, Dimapur.
