I, the undersigned, would like to inform all the public in general that 33% woman reservation is a clear contradiction with the Naga customary law practices as well as the religion in Nagaland and for which unless an amicable settlement between the man and women is arrived at conducting an election for 33% women reservation is a clear cut to go against the interest of Nagas traditional rights protected under the Article 371A.

In this connection, every concerned authority knows that TL Angami is the founder president and senior advisor of GBFN. However till today, I did not receive any clear cut order for the GBs (Village Chiefs) not to go against or to support the present propose boycott of election. Rather, I have several times appealed to the Nagas as well the GOI not to implement the same women reservation in Nagaland unless it is implemented in others states of India. And accordingly Nagas, the village chiefs, GBs and Ahngs of the State cannot go against the interest of the public in any Naga traditional issue by violation of Article 371A and Christian religion.
