Woman found dead at paid quarantine facility in Dimapur

Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): A 32-year-old woman was found dead in her room at a paid quarantine facility in Dimapur on Wednesday, a health official informed Eastern Mirror.

The health official said that the case was unlikely to be Covid-19 related as she arrived in the city by train on Tuesday night (July 21) from Guwahati and was vomiting upon arrival at the paid quarantine facility.

“Medical officials tried to contact her today but there was no response from her end,” the official informed.

Further details are awaited as post mortem and investigation is underway.
