Wokha, Nov. 18 (EMN): Wokha unit of All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) resolved to stop carrying LPG cylinders in any taxi under Wokha district. The resolution to this effect was taken during the unit’s annual day cum raising day held at Santsuphen. The resolution was adopted by taking into consideration on safety of the passengers.
ANTA, Wokha Unit, has also resolved to support the May 18 resolution of the All Commercial Vehicles’ Association (ACVA) on “One government one tax.” While reaffirming on its motto “Service to the public,” the association has resolved to ask the passengers to carry a limited luggage (around 20 kgs) for the safety.
The unit president, Hayithung Odyuo, has encouraged the members to keep up the good work in rendering valuable service to the public. Renbomo Humtsoe, former unit president, Renphamo Tsanglao, senior driver, and former finance secretary Yanbothung Jami delivered short speeches.
The unit general secretary, Lipenthung Ovung, and the finance secretary, Bipenthung Shitiri, delivered the annual report of the association.
The programme was chaired by N Amos Humtsoe, while the invocation was said by Renbomo Humtsoe and the vote of thanks delivered by Bipenthung Shitiri.
