Dimapur, September 9 : The youth wing of the Wokha NPF has cautioned office heads in Wokha against ‘ignoring’ their assigned duties considering that the public had been suffering because of negligent government officials.
The unit said to have met on August 19 to deliberate “on the irregularities of some head of departments and despite the appeal made to all the (heads of departments) including outpost.”
“...the youth wing has taken serious note of the adamant attitude of some HODs ignoring their assigned duties causing untold hardship to the general public. Therefore, in pursuance to the previous publication and as a corrective measure, the youth wing will be conducting phase-wise surprise checking in all the offices,” the unit stated.
The group has asked ‘erring officials’ to be “attentive in their assigned duties. The authorities are asked to take stringent action “when such irregular complaint letter is being forwarded.”
