Wokha Excise div. raids booze

Dimapur,April 22 (EMN): The Excise division of Wokha has confiscated more than a thousand bottles of assorted liquor following a raid on a place at GA colony on April 22 in the town. According to updates from the department on Sunday, the enforcement seized 1655 bottles of assorted liquor. The owner of the consignment was identified as one Y Kikon of Yimpang village. Said owner was arrested and booked under various sections of the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition Act, it was informed. The Excise division has urged for the public to ‘cooperate in future to restrain the menace of alcohol abuse.’
