Wokha District Football Association convenes consultative meeting
DIMAPUR — The Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) updated that it held a consultative meeting with various range sports associations in the district at Old Riphyim Baptist Church Building Wokha on November 27.
In a delayed update, the association informed that N Samuel Ezung stressed the need to work together to promote the football game in his presidential address, while WDFA advisor K. Edward Ngullie, who is also the treasurer of Nagaland Football Association (NFA) shared the upcoming activities of the NFA, besides encouraging the ranges to register and seek recognition of their football tournaments with the district association.
Chairman of Wokha District Football Referee Board, Yanthanshan Yanthan, WDFA General Secretary Zubenthung Ovung and WDFRB Secretary Phyochamo Humtsoe also spoke at the meeting attended by Englan RSA, Niro RSA, Wozhüro RSA, LLRSA, Wokha Circle, Chukidong RSA, Sanis RSA and Doyang LOU, said the update.
