Wokha district felicitates HSLC toppers

WOKHA — Wokha district administration on Friday felicitated four HSLC toppers from Wokha during a programme held at the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office in Wokha town.

Prior to handing over of certificates and cash to the toppers, the deputy commissioner of Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, interacted with the achievers and shared his experience leading to cracking UPSC and becoming an IAS officer. He encouraged the students to pursue their dreams with consistency and determination till they achieve they want to become in life. Besides, he encouraged the students not to be distracted by outside intervention but to live their own lives and contribute to the society.

He further lauded the students, school authority and teachers for their cohesive effort in producing good results. He also gave away certificates and cash to all the toppers.

The programme was chaired by Nuhuta Tunyi, SDO  of Wokha, wherein he congratulated all the achievers, parents, teachers and the school authorities. He also wished the students and teachers to keep producing good results even in the days to come.

Certificates and cash were awarded to Nchumbemo Lotha from Isaiah Higher Secondary School for securing top 7th position, Ruth Y Lotha from Libemo Memorial School for securing top 14th position, Meriyani C Humtsoe and Zaren Taslim Khandakar both from Libemo Memorial School for securing 17th position each in the recent HSLC exam results.
