The inauguration of the second edition of Wokha Dance Hunt II was held at the Onyx Hotel in Wokha. The dance hunt is organised by the Griffin Motors in association with the Wokha Circle Students’ Union (WCSU).
A press release from the organisers informed the dance hunt is scheduled to be held on December 26 at the Youth Centre of the DBHSS in Wokha. The supervisor of the Indian Railways South Mumbai Vilas Patole will be the special guest of the event. Radio Story Productions is the media partner for Wokha Dance Hunt II.
Prizes for the winners: The champions will receive INR 30,000; INR 20,000 for the first runners up; and INR 10,000 for the second runners up along with trophies and certificates.
Three categories of awards will be presented. The panel of judges will present the ‘Judge’s Pick Award,’ besides other prizes will be given such as the ‘Top choreography Award’ and ‘Entertainer Award’ each carrying INR 3000 along with certificates. The show will also feature performances from Obed Sumi, Nzan and Emmia, it was informed.
The overall champion of the Wokha Dance Hunt II shall be given the opportunity to participate in the Kohima Dance fiesta.
