Wokha, May 12 (EMN):
Following an appeal made by Wokha unit of the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) on May 1 and the Wokha district chamber of commerce and industry (WDCCI) on May 11, the Wokha district administration under the supervision of the district task force (DTF) conducted a random Covid-19 test at Wokha town on May 12.

The random test was conducted on all the taxi drivers at Wokha bazaar, taxi counter and drivers, autorickshaw drivers, the shopkeepers and few individuals. It was reported that six persons were tested positive for Covid-19 out of the total 121 persons registered for free test through rapid antigen test (Rat).

People who were tested positive were told to isolate and undergo home quarantined. Authority also informed that the houses for those people who tested positive would be sealed by tomorrow.
