Dimapur, April 11 (EMN): A social audit public hearing for eight villages was conducted on April 10 at the Village Development Board's multipurpose hall in Wokha.
According to the press release from DIPR on Wednesday, the state resource person of Social Audit Union (SAU) Imlirenla Sanglir gave an introduction about the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.
spoke on the activities of SAU that were being carried out during the financial year 2017-18. She stated that, they had audited 129 villages in Nagaland.
on the future activities of SAU, she said that, the unit will be targeting at least 70 villages per district. In an overall total of 770 villages in the state, it will be audited according to the current annual action plan (financial year 2018-2019).
