DIMAPUR — Nagaland Police on Friday appealed to the public to maintain peace and communal harmony amid concerns that tensions arising from the prevailing law and order situation in neighbouring Manipur could spill over into the state.
In a statement, the police urged citizens to refrain from sharing or forwarding unverified information, rumours and provocative social media content that could create panic, mistrust or disturb inter-community relations.
