Dimapur, Sep. 13 (EMN): Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has opposed the constructions on the two-lane road project at Lanye Bridge and from Akash Bridge to Akhwego, stating that such ‘illegal constructions’ would be removed as per the administrative order.

CPO stated it would extend full co-operation and support to the executing authorities. It also stated that construction of two-lane roads in the town areas must be given priority for the interest and welfare of the people before the onset of winter session.

It urged the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary services to revitalize the pig breeding centres at Phek Hqs. and Sathazu village or handover the breeding centre to a private party.

It is also approved to have seminars on pork ban and Agri-allied products.

It said that the area presidents would thoroughly disseminate and encourage in their respective areas to boost agriculture products and farming.

“This was the desire to help the upcoming organic market at CPO building Dimapur, tentatively to be inaugurated in the month of November, 2021,” it read.

Meanwhile, CPO meeting of Trustee Board and Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) will be tentatively held in the second week of October in Dimapur to review the present CPO building construction.
