Now I am not concerned about whether sovereignty or no sovereignty but I only want an early settlement. In the name of patriotism the Nagas have been excessively inflicting the Nagas for too long. True love for the Naga people is found lacking. Formation of sovereign Governments is an obstacle to the Naga sovereignty. It is a hurdle to the unity of the Naga sovereignty. If there is any meeting of the sovereign Governments, representatives or emissaries are to be sent to the meeting but any meeting over the unity of the National Political Groups cannot be free because all are representing their respective sovereign Governments and no decision which is not on equal basis can be accepted and no group can agree to anything at the expense of the prestige of the group. So national interest is no longer the priority. All delegates are to be addressed as honourable according to official protocol and they have to do for the interest of their respective Governments. Naga Political Groups are not political parties or organizations but all are sovereign Governments. That is why unity of Naga Political Groups is impossible.
Why are there several sovereign Governments? It is because without forming a Government, no armed men can be raised up and without gun extortion and taxation is impossible. So the Nagas have been woefully burdened with their own sovereign Governments and more and more groups can crop up if the problem continues. If a settlement is reached whatever it may be, then only factional Government can end. So any kind of settlement or even a settlement not to make a settlement be made. Let the Nagas live free from self infliction.
