Who the hell we care?!!

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]oday the political condition in our so called Christian majority state is awful. It has paralyzed the whole system of governance. The war for power and pride is taking toil on the public, yet many also seem to be enjoying the political tamasha. The people for whom we have voted yesterday, today does not bother about our tomorrow. They are entangled in a tussle where there is no winner. The worse is that we the public are the one who will be affected the most.
This political imbroglio is not only creating a bad name for us but also eating away our share of developments. The longer the impasse goes on, the heavier our burden will become. One cannot just be an onlooker, we need to raise our voice and fight against this pride and prejudice. We cannot always maintain the status-quo, we need to move along with time and bring changes. “Until and unless it affects me directly I will not do anything,” we need to change this kind of attitude. On the other hand, as concerned citizens we need to check ourselves also. We are the one who have elected those leaders to lead us and bring development in our land. Let’s not just work for our personal benefits but elect people who can work for the welfare of the all. Many a time we point finger at the politicians but in a way we are pointing at our own selves. Therefore, do not waste your vote in favour of money or power. Let your vote have a say in the future.
Those elected leaders should also know that the public are the one who made them who they are today. They should have concern and seek the welfare of the public. However, the present political drama clearly conveys their message, “Who the hell we care?!!” This kind of attitude will never help anyone to remain at the helm for long. One cannot be hell-bent on a crusade to stir the wheel as he likes. It is high time to show maturity and work for the common good of all.
The current political battle is not a fight for glory, it is not a fight for honor; it is a battle of shame. We cannot be so shameless to the point of selling ourselves to money, power and pride. No matter how long you fight, no matter how tough you fight; if your motive and purpose is meaningless. What is there in it to even fight?!!
