DIMAPUR — To help students establish lifelong healthy behaviours and recognise the importance of health and wellness, a one-day session was held at Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Chizami, on Thursday.
Rev. Fr. C Joseph, counselor of St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, was the resource person. He spoke on enhancing physical, emotional and mental health risks of a person. He also emphasised that good health and wellness could improve the quality of life, reduce stress and anxiety and help them live a longer and healthier life.
He urged the students to take care of their mental, physical and spiritual factors rather than focusing on other problems.
The programme included joyful iteration, action songs, talks on health and wellness, youth and substance abuse and how to take care of the body etc.
