Weekly bazaar opens in Zunheboto

DIMAPUR — The first-ever weekly bazaar in Zunheboto earlier inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo, on February 23, will now be opened every Wednesday.

The weekly bazaar constructed under MGNREGA and located at the vegetable godown, was handed over to the Zunheboto Town Council, an update stated.

Under FOCUS-IFAD Support, Keltomi village took the main initiative in opening the weekly bazaar, which is scheduled to be opened every Wednesday. The bazaar will cater to organic vegetables grown and harvested by local farmers at a low price, it stated.
