Wedding gowns store inaugurated in Kohima

Kohima, June 10 (EMN): Shopping for wedding dresses which usually causes lots of stress has been made easy with the opening of a new store ‘Kat’s Collection’ in Kohima that deals exclusively with high quality and exquisite designs imported from China.
The store was inaugurated by KMC Administrator, Kethosituo Sekhose, this morning located at CK Arcade, 1st Floor, opposite Bank of Baroda, Kohima.
In a short address, Sekhose said KMC is happy with new businesses that are coming up in the state capital. While encouraging entrepreneurs, he said businesses boost the economy of the State which also creates employment opportunities.Observing that shopping for wedding dresses brought about lots of stress among women, he opined that ‘Kat’s Collection’ will duly serve the needs of the women at its doorstep. He also requested the owners to have prices of all ranges to serve all kinds of people.
‘Kat’s Collection’ is owned and run by two siblings namely Visituonuo Rio and Keneivor Rio, who first started their business in 2011 via facebook with clothing and shoes.
Visituonuo Rio said sales were made through friends and family, which then slowly gain popularity in social media. They then expanded their business by selling wedding dresses online. Later, with the success of the business highly popular among the people at home, they opened KC wedding dresses at Walford junction, Dimapur, in 2016.
She humbly said that it all started with nothing but with hard work and passion. They later opened a second store in Kohima.
Keneivor Rio, brother of Visituonuo who is also an architect by profession, said plans are on the pipeline to expand their business in Shillong very soon.
They informed that customisation as per the needs and requirements of the customers can be done according to the budget of the customer.
