WADSA 42nd wrestling meet on Jan 9

The Western Angami ‘D’ Group Sports Association (WADSA) will hold its 42nd Wrestling meet on January 9 at Chatsukikou Ground, Sechüma village. The one-day event will be graced by Krosal Neikha, Class-I contractor & Treasurer Government Contractors Supply Union, Nagaland, as the chief guest for the inaugural function and Pfükrungulie Zhünyü, chairman, Sechüma Village Council as the guest of honour for the closing function.
Altogether, over 40 wrestlers from villages under WADSA comprising Kiruphema, Menguzouma, Sechüma, Sechü Zuba and Thekrejuma will participate in the tournament.
The prize sponsors for the winners are Dr Kelhouvituo Meyatsu Sechü, Surgeon, Oking Hospital and Research Clinic Pvt Ltd, Keviletso Sechü, Class-I Contractor, Kevichatha Suohumvü, Former WADSA President and Dr Kethoselie Peseyie, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Sechü Zubza, informed a release issued by WADSA general secretary Vikerükho Rhatsu and president Neivi Sechü.
The inaugural function on January 9 will be chaired by Neivi Sechü, president WADSA, while the invocation will be pronounced by Toulie Sechü, pastor Sechüma Baptist Church. A special number will be presented by Visedelhou Terhüja, finalist Naga Talents Promo 2012 and the oath of administration to the players would be delivered by Megozokho Hesielie, wrestling secretary WADSA.
The release has also informed all the WADSA office bearers, game officials and all the units along with their players to reach the hosting village on January 8.
