Viswema Village Council bids farewell to electrician

DIMAPUR — In appreciation of the services provided, the Viswema Village Council organised a farewell programme on April 28 for Bimol Gogoi, a retired electrician from Viswema in Kohima who served the village community for about 12 years.

A press release issued by the village council chairman, Tebül Neikha, informed that a programme honouring his service and dedication to the village community was held at the council hall of Viswema.

Kevihopi Lcho, head GB of Viswema, delivering a speech on the occasion, acknowledged Gogoi’s commitment and dedication to the village during his stay there, noting that electricity has been a necessity for the village in terms of daily activities, as well as enabling progress and development, and that he had given his best in service to the people.

Bimol Gogoi delivered a speech in which he thanked the village for its hospitality and cooperation throughout his service and stay. According to the release, at the end of the programme, the village community prayed for Gogoi and his family.

The programme was led by Tebül Neikha, chairman of the village council. The invocation prayer was offered by Nosezol Valeo, pastor of CRC Viswema, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dühovil Rhetso, secretary of the village council.
