Visitors restricted at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Complex

Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): The Home department has issued an order stating that the entry of visitors to the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Complex will be restricted in view of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases in the state and for public safety.

The order stated that all employees should produce valid ID card for the checking staff before entering the Secretariat and follow precautionary measures like wearing masks, regular washing of hands and maintaining social distancing at all times to ensure general safety.

The employees have also being advised not to entertain visitors in the complex.

Meanwhile, the nodal officers, officers and staff from the directorates or districts on official duty can enter the complex after obtaining due permission from the concerned officer in the Secretariat not below the rank of Under Secretary. It added that “any other visitors in exceptional cases will require the permission of the Home department (SAB ‘A’)”.

The order will come into immediate effect till further orders, informed the Home department.
