KOHIMA — The Vision Trinity Club will host the sixth edition of its Women's Basketball Tournament, themed "Start unknown, finish unforgettable," from October 9 to the 11th at St. Mary's Cathedral Higher Secondary School in Kohima.
This was announced during a press conference on Tuesday by the club's president Nunese Sale, speaker Tshekulhi Aku Thopi, and sports secretary Vizokhrienuo Khro.
This year's tournament will feature a prize of INR 35,000 for the champions and INR 20,000 for the runners-up. Additionally, the Lt. Vikeduo-ü Memorial Award for the Most Promising Player and the Most Valuable Player will each receive INR 5,000.

Awards of INR 3000 each will be given to the Best Disciplined Team and the Best Team Jersey.
It was informed that this year's tournament will feature teams from outside Kohima, with confirmed participation from neighbouring northeastern states like Meghalaya and Assam.
The club has consistently rotated the tournament locations each year, successfully hosting five editions so far.
Matches will follow FIBA rules, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. Admission for spectators will be free to encourage community engagement and support for the women's basketball players.
