Villages trained on use of field testing kits

EMN PHEK NOVEMBER 9 To institutionalize community participation for regular surveillance on water quality, training on water quality monitoring and surveillance including practical demonstration on use of field testing kits (FTK) was conducted by PHED Phek from October 31 to November 4 under Phek division. During the training, 60 villages were covered in and trainings were imparted to WATSAN committee members, village council, GPS teachers, and Angawadi members. Kethonu Theyo, Chemist PHE Phek demonstrated on the use of field testing kit and shared the importance of water quality while Hygiene and sanitation consultant, Virhielie spoke on safe drinking water. Field Testing Kits (FTK) were distributed to respective villages during the training.
