Our Correspondent Diphu, June 14 (EMN): More than twenty thousand people in western part of West Karbi Anglong district has been affected from incessant rain since the last three days making many houses submerged in the flood in Vo-thatlangso area, the lower part of the hill station of Hamren. The villages that are affected from the flood are Borsali, Amdobi, Kharupindi and Inghinlangso with no relief of the continuous rain, sources said. With the raising of Karbi Langpi Hydro Electric Project, it might create havoc with schools, medical and transportation cut off from the main town vo-thatlangso. The only road connectivity from vo-thatlangso to Borsali has been cut off due to soaring rainfall and affected at least thirteen villages.
