Vilasier lifts first edition of Dr. Savizo N Yhome Memorial Tennis Cup

Dimapur, Feb. 27 (EMN): Vilasier Khate defeated Iciraibe Salie in straight sets to win the first edition of the Dr. Savizo N Yhome Memorial Tennis cup on February 27 at Chavino Peseyie Tennis Complex, Kuda Village in Dimapur. 

In the men’s doubles finals, Thejaser Khate and Vilasier Khate defeated Vitsizolie Nagi and Zhaputso Khate in straight sets, with a score of 6-3 and 6-1.

The winners of both the categories received a cash prize of INR 50,000 along with a trophy while the runners-up in both the categories received a cash prize of INR 30,000 along with trophy.

All semi-finalists were also awarded a cash prize of INR 10,000 each while the quarter finalists received a cash prize of INR 2000 each.
