Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra event held in Bhandari

DIMAPUR — A Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra event was held at the local ground in Bhandari on Tuesday, which was conducted by the district administration in collaboration with Bhandari Town Council.

According to a DIPR report, ADC Bhandari, Longdiba L Sangtam, stated on the occasion that centrally sponsored schemes and flagship programmes are designed for the benefit of citizens.

He emphasised that the success of these initiatives does not solely depend on the government and the various departments involved but also on the public and he encouraged them to take advantage of the opportunities and facilities available.

During the programme, officers from various departments assisted the public in accessing different schemes and programmes. Additionally, a medical team from CHC Bhandari conducted a free medical check-up.

In order to raise awareness about various programmes and initiatives and to shed light on the successful and efficient implementation of numerous projects and schemes that have so far benefited the people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recorded messages and video speeches were also screened from the yatra van.
