Viketuno Sanyü wins ‘Creative Entrepreneur of the Year’ award

KOHIMA — Twenty-seven-year-old woman from Nagaland, Viketuno Sanyü, was awarded the ‘Creative Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Woman Leaders Forum 2024 in New Delhi on Saturday.

She was recognised for her dedication and innovative approach in building successful business ventures showcasing the power of creativity.

Sanyü is the founder of a craft page called ‘Yours Craftfully’, Paperie by V, as well as co-founder of Bies & Co. Initially conceived as a means to cover her college expenses, her venture soon evolved into a thriving business fuelled by passion.

“I realised that with hard work and determination, what I initially began as a side hobby could actually become something meaningful and sustaining,” Sanyü said.

Attributing much of her success to her grandmother and Almighty God, she shared that her grandmother’s wisdom, instilled in her since childhood, always guided her. The values of humility, diligence and care have always been a constant source of inspiration, she said.

The creative entrepreneur expressed gratitude for the support received and hoped that her story will inspire others to dream big and redefine success.
