Kohima, Sep. 11 (EMN): Viketho Kechii and Marang on Monday won the monthly badminton tournament organised by Tribal Feathers Club at Indoor Stadium in Kohima.
The duo (winner) beat Mhisivilie Vakha (Avito) and Supong Jamir in the final match. Chiwasie, the vice-president of Tribal Feathers Club, a morning badminton club, informed that there were about 20 members and all actively participated in the tourney.
The official informed that with most members being office goers and from various professions, the idea to spread physical fitness emerged and at the same time get to know each other better. He added that the club has been conducting the monthly tournament for three years.
