Dimapur, Oct. 11 (EMN): Nagaland defeated Sikkim by four wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Dehradun during their Plate Group clash in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy on October 11.
Sikkim elected to bat first after winning the toss and scored 138 runs for loss of all wickets in 44.3 overs, according to an update from Jt. secy of Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) A Rahman. Ashish Thapa - 32 runs and Ishwar Chaudhary - 18 runs were the leading scorers of the state.
Imliwati and SS Mundhe took three wickets apiece while Tahmeed took two wickets for Nagaland.
Made to chase 138 runs, Nagaland scored 140 runs in 36.5 overs for loss of just three wickets. Jonathan - 36 and Stuart Binny - 35 were the leading scorers for the state in the match.

In a separate statement, Jt. secy of NCA has informed that Nagaland scored 415 runs for loss of seven wickets in 90 overs on the first day of the match against Arunachal Pradesh. It is a three-day game from October 11 to the 13th at NCA Stadium, Sovima, Dimapur.
Nagaland chose to bat first after winning the toss and put up a got total. Yugandhar scored a century (148 runs), while Rohan scored 70 runs and Yash – 63. Roshan took two wickets for Arunachal Pradesh.
