Victoria and David Beckham preparing for baby number five
According to sources close to Victoria’s best pal Tana Ramsay, the designer and former footballer are said to be gearing up to join the “just one last baby” club.
Victoria has been prepping her body for a possible pregnancy by increasing her intake of folic acid.
Medical experts usually recommend an increase of folic acid in a woman’s diet while trying to conceive and during pregnancy to encourage the development of a healthy baby.
It’s said the former Spice Girl has been boosting a “spinach-heavy diet” with broccoli and leafy greens which are rich in folic acid.
The suggestion is that Victoria, who’s recently been working on increasing her fashion empire, is keen to follow in the footsteps of Tana, 41, who’s expecting her fifth child with husband and celebrity chef Gordon.
There’s also the 41-year-old wife of Jamie Oliver, Jools, who’s again pregnant with their fifth child.
And while David is believed to have been keen to add to their brood since the birth of daughter Harper in 2011, Victoria has been slightly more reluctant.
David told The Jonathan Ross Show in February 2012: “’Harper is seven months now. I can’t even look at her without welling up.
“After having three boys, you just assume that you’re going to have another boy, but when we got told she was a little girl, it was amazing.”
He went on: “We might have one more or two more, you never know. We’re not thinking about it yet, but if it happens, great. We’re enjoying the kids as it is. It’s always a thought.
“I mean, we’re busy people and we’re enjoying the four kids that we’ve got already and we’re lucky, we’re lucky to have four healthy children.”
The couple married in 1999 and do not shy away from showing their affection for one another on social media.
