Vethozo Lohe claims 'India's strongest left arm' title

KOHIMA — Adding another feather to his cap, Vethozo Lohe from Nagaland claimed the title of 'India's Strongest Left Arm' (teen) after winning an arm wrestling battle against his opponent Abhimanyu Chhillar in New Delhi on October 14. Lohe secured victory in a supermatch consisting of five rounds, ending with a 3:1 win. Despite his opponent, Chhillar, weighing 150 kg, Lohe, who weighs 77 kg, emerged as the victor.

It may be mentioned that at the recent World Armwrestling Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Vethozo Lohe earned a gold medal in the right arm category for under 78 kg (youth) on behalf of his country. In the same event, he also achieved fourth place in the left arm category.
