Veterans inter-district football tournament from Feb. 20

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Veterans Football Association (NVFA) has announced that the 11th edition of the Nagaland veterans inter-district football tournament will be held from Feb. 20 to the 23rd at the Nagaland Police Complex, Chümoukedima.

The Chumoukedima District Veterans Football Association has consented to host and organise the tournament under the aegis of NVFA, an update stated. The NVFA informed that entry fee has been enhanced to INR 50,000.00 from INR 30,000.00. Eligibility age for players is minimum 45 years as on Feb. 15, and proof of age is Aadhar card. All the district veterans’ football associations have been encouraged to participate in the tournament and to confirm their participation by Feb. 10.

All participating teams will consist of 21 members (18 players and three officials including team manager, coach and physiotherapist).
