DIMAPUR — Veritas Sports defeated Esa Warriors on Wednesday by two wickets to lift the Inter-Club Champions Trophy 2023.

The tournament was organised jointly by Chümoukedima Cricket Association and Dimapur Cricket Association from August 5 to 9 under the aegis of Nagaland Cricket Association at Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Sovima Cricket Ground, Chümoukedima.

Altogether, 12 clubs participated in the tournament.

According to a press note, DC Chümoukedima Abhinav Shivam attended the finale and prize distribution ceremony.

Menchet from Titans CC, was awarded the best batsman of the tournament. The best bowler award went to Sundaram Gupta from Esa Warriors. Nripen Rai and Nagaho Chishi from Titans CC and Veritas Sports were named best wicket-keeper and player of the tournament, respectively.
