Power supply in parts of Dimapur and Chümoukedima will be disrupted from March 12–14 due to vegetation clearance along a key transmission line.

DIMAPUR — Residents in parts of Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts will experience morning power disruptions for three consecutive days beginning March 12 as the Power department undertakes vegetation clearance along a key transmission line.
According to a press release issued by the executive engineer of Dimapur Transmission Division, the department will shut down the 66 kV Sovima–Chümoukedima and 66 kV Ganeshnagar transmission feeder from March 12 to March 14 to carry out vegetation clearance works near the Nagaland Zoological Park area at Rangapahar and along the transmission corridor.
The shutdown will be implemented daily from 6 am to 9 am.
During this period, power supply to the 66/11 kV Sovima sub-station, 66/33/11 kV Chümoukedima sub-station, and 66/33 kV Ganeshnagar sub-station will remain affected, the department informed.
While acknowledging the inconvenience caused to consumers, it requested the cooperation of the public during the maintenance work.
