Veda FC, Kohima Komets win

Correspondent Kohima, Oct 5 In the two matches played of Nagaland Premier League played in Kohima today, Veda FC and Kohima Komets gained three points each. In the first match debutants Veda FC defeated defending champions Barak FC by 1-1.Rhitso Mero struck the much needed goal for the first timers in the injury added time of the first half, which subsequently turned to be the only goal of the match to build their boost to play against home rivals Kohima Komets on Wednesday. Playing another close shave match Kohima Komets also defeated Dynamic FC by a solitary goal. Though both sides made equal attacks ad counters attacks on either camps during the first half, they could not materialize any target shots. After continued struggle for both ends, it was Kivi showing up to find the much need goal for the home team in the 72nd minute from inside the D-Box.
